Lydia Mckeown is the Managing Director and Founder of We Do Marketing Ltd, a Kent-based agency that partners with ambitious UK business leaders to deliver strategic, results-driven marketing.
One of only 3,000 professionals in the UK to hold Chartered Marketer status, Lydia brings over a decade of experience, combining practical insight with big-picture strategy. She also serves as the Marketing & Communications Ambassador for the Institute of Directors’ Kent region, and tutors aspiring marketers as part of her commitment to growing the next generation of industry talent.
Lydia has spoken at many events throughout Kent & London, including ‘International Women’s Day – Impact 26’ hosted by the Institute of Directors (IoD), Speaker at ‘Kent & Medway Business Summit 2026’ hosted by the University of Kent, IoD, FSB and the Kent Chamber of Commerce. Lydia has judged for a Digital Women x Canva event and the Kent Business Awards, as well as a Panellist for the ‘Kent Business Show’ in 2026, covering topics including Marketing Trends 2026, LinkedIn Strategy, and AI. Lydia has also featured on BBC Radio 4, discussing how marketing is changing in live sports. She often contributes to online features that need a marketing expert’s opinion or a female founder perspective.

She prides herself on being a Living Wage employer, introducing a period-leave policy and working pro bono for a local mental health charity.
